Hi, I have a DE0-Nano Board and when i turned its power off after programming then turned on again, it always loaded its default program. The user manual says that even the power is turned off, the information is retained in the configuration device (Spansion EPCS64). So, everytime i turned its power on, i have to program the board again.
I don't have much knowledge about FPGA. I read the user manual but couldn't find anything about it. Is it something that i must do while programming the device with quartus II programmer? Any help would be appreciated.

Another word for sloppy reading?

Please read chapter 3.1, paragraph Configuring the EPCS16 device
and 9.1 Programming the serial configuration device
