Hi, all,

I want to download my .bit file into my xilinx FPGA using parallel cable which is connected to my Linux system. But my Linux system can't find the parallel port, so the cable can not be found.

Did you ever encounter such a problem? I mean how to find the parallel port in Linux system.

I had referred to xilinx answer record 18612 and had done all according to those instructions in 18612. But I still didn't find the cable.

Could you help me?

By the way, I used iMPACT 8.2i.

Thank you!!
