Hey all! Ive been all over the web and various datasheets searching for a way to interface the 8255 port expansion ic with flash ram... Im having no luck.. My main question is how to wire up the "rd" "wr" and "ale" from the 8051 pins which are needed by both the 8255 and the ram? Ive successfully interfaced the 8255 and flash ram individually to the 8051. My main goal is to interface the ram to the 8255 if possible to save those two ports on the 8051.
This if for a portion of my program final project I would greatly appreciate any direction on this (not looking for a handout) thank you!:smile:
