Hi,

I'm designing a 30 Watt Flyback converter.

I'm gonna use a low Rds, 800 V Mosfet.

Are there any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Enrico Migliore

How low of an Rds on do you think you need? To get much below 1 ohm, you're looking at expensive technology, like SiC. For such high voltages, conduction losses probably won't even dominate, so you might look at fast IGBTs as well. Or just using a different topology that requires less voltage handling.
