74hc14 operating frequency range

what is the maximum operating frequency of 74hc14 in data sheet i cannot locate it. does it support 500 khz frequency

Have a look at figure 6. Parameter is propagation delay and depends on Voltage (lower voltage, slower responce).

This is the critical parameter (if the time you are reading it's output, the output is stable).

The frequence you want is very low for such an IC. Of course it handles this (in every usable voltage).
