Hi ,

i am looking for a circuit to control the intensity of 5V Ac 400hz lamp .

I have a transformer which converts 115V Ac 400hz to 5V Ac 400hz

But i dont have any auto transformer to vary the intensity of the lamp .

Pls help with a ciruit to control the intensity of this lamp.

The lamp coil resistance is 2 ohms & voltage is 5V Ac.....

Most economic method is phase angle control ("dimmer") at the primary, using a dimmer circuit designed for 400 Hz and transformer load. At the secondary, MOSFET solid state relays can be used for phase angle control, triac voltage drop would be most likely too high.
