Hello qorban,

sorry, but these amplifiers are not projects for beginners.

If you have no experiance to built high power amplifiers, you can have big problems with oscillations. If your amplifier will oscillate you will toast your speakers about the high current.

Think also that your power supply must deliver a minimum of 16 to 20A at a voltage of appox. 50V. If you get a short circuit, your power supply can going exploded.

If you want to get experiance in building amps, start with a small project.

Regards

Rainer

hello ...
I am Not totaly beginner in electronic but partly beginner in Audio Amplifier .
my orginal specialty in the Chemistry ...
please guide me to build this Amplifier .
I would to use two TIP36b +two 2N3055
and two of TDA2030A (18W +-44V) in project
1-Whats schematic is best and why ??
2- possible connect this amplifier to PC OR home cinema .(in german article :input impedance = 22k Ohm)
3-whats best function this amplifier :for subwoofer or coaxial or woofer speaker and whats output impedance (2*TIP36b+2*2N3055
4- WHATS BOX for this circuit (Empty ATX PSU IS GOOD)
5- heatsink need for transistor and TWO IC ?

1) I can't say which one's "best", but do you need 400W?
2) It's an audio amplifier, so you should be able to connect it to PC or home cinema.

4), 5) I don't think it'll fit into an ATX PSU case. LARGE heatsinks are required. And try to keep as much air flow as possible.

Hope this helps.
Tahmid.

It is 200W mono and 200+200=400w stereo.
It is an old design from device application note.

There are many versions available on net.

There was a discussion about this design after asking a similar question by someone. It was not advised to go forward to built as there are many good designs available now. It was current sensing part of amp and power devices used causing instability, as i recall. There is a problem if unregulated supply is used

I am change project :because power transformer 500va not cheap & ....
now my project is : Single Supply High Power Amplifier TDA2030A + npn/pnp :

**broken link removed**

severl question :
1- whats way to increase power of this circuit ?
2- TIP36B & 2N3055 IS woking in this circuit or not? how many change circuit with use these Transistors
3- best circuit of two : Single Supply TDA2030A BD907 BD908 or TDA2030A Bridge with split power supply 34w Vs-+16
( DC VOLTAGE of my Transformer is 29 v )
4- what is way to increase current of transistor output without voltage increaseing ( darlington for every npn and pnp or parallel transistor)

please guide me to
regad .

Hello qorban,

possible to replace BDX54C & BDX53C(hfe=750) WITH TIP36B & 2N3055

No, it's not possible. BDX54 and BDX53 are Darlington - transistors, Tip36 and 2N3055 are normal BJTs.

For a rael help to build your amp, please give clear advices what power you need, what power supply, what inputs and how much, or say for what use you need it.

Hi Rainer....
please see attached files ...
this doc file is translated by google (original spanish to english**broken link removed**)
Iwant 100w +100w streeo or 200w mono(bridge)
my Qusetion:
1- this circuit is working with TIP36B together 2N3055 instead Drlingtons transistors (BDX54C BDX53C) ???
2- power of circuit ??? (TIP36B +2N3055)
