hello friends ,

I am little confused, i want to design isolated 4-20mA transmitter .

Please tell me as i am new to it , what will be voltage source to ckt , will it come from the receiver or my card has to generate all the voltages.

Also, i seen couple of circuit in which improved howland is used as a current source . But here it's assumed that load is in between ground.

there are other topology where they use simple voltage to current convertor and use a BJT to transmit current.

Please help me with circuit , i don't want to use ICs as i think it will be costlier.

Variable resistor, 24V power supply, ammeter and valves in series. Then adjust the side observed. You can get you current.
