Hi everyone,
I would like to clarify a concept. For bandwidth of the interconnect related to rise time (10GHz Bandwidth, then rise time would be .35 ns) . If i would use the VNA to measure the insertion loss of the interconnect, and -3db would be like 1GHz (that would be too low). This mean the rise time got change from .35ns to many more. Please explain significant concept regarding the -3db of the insertion loss.
Thanks
