hi all,
for the project we have selected pic 32bit controller with 2CAN bus, graphics driver and usb. we want development board of pic 32bit controller at least with usb and graphics driver. I searched but didn't get complete information pls help me to select the development board.???

Hi,

Seems Microchip. Mikroe and Olimex are the main providers of pic32 boards

Can and USB are internal hardware modules of the Pic chip, but think most graphic drivers are external add on parts driven by the pics software; though you give no idea of your screen type.

Microchip do have graphic software help **broken link removed**

A possible low cost option ? **broken link removed**

Its just a tool, which is used for learning or developing some product. From quality and capabilities of that tool depends what you can do with this together with your knowledge. When you start to use development board for some project you will see is this right and good choice or not.

Keep in mind this:

PIC32-MAXI-WEB WARNING

"Do not use "programmer-to-go" button when there is no image on the OLIMEX PIC-KIT3 or MICROCHIP PIC-KIT3 or that might put your microcontroller in an inrecoverable state. We have tested the mentioned scenario and we can confirm it destroys PIC32 chips (using both our and the original Microchip PICKIT3). We don't take responsibility if you brick your chip that way. For more info check the following www.microchip.com/forums/m635420.aspx".
