hairpin filter

Hi all,

I hope u r good

I want to know how can I design and simulate my own hairpin filter by using Ansoft S.V or Sonnet 10.51 ??

If there is any software better than these programes plz plz put t here.

Thanks for ur patient

hairpin filter design

Both Sonnet and Ansoft are good to design microstrip filters.
But in my opinion, for this kind of application, the best is Eagleware Genesys.

But what is the procedure????????

wat do u mean wats the procedure take a look at microwave filter text by G.Matthaie and genesys has flter synthesis which gives u the layout ofthe filter. u cant learn everyhting form this msg board try exploring genesys

Can i get the procedure too ?
I'm facing problems on designing microstrip hairpin filter ..
Thanx.

harpin filter design

Everyone, i need your help please ..

I need to know procedure for designing microstrip hairpin filter.
How can i get the width, length, spacing of a hairpin patch, for bandpassfilter specification ?
What equation/formula/theory to determine those parameters ?

Urgently need your response soon ..
Alot of thanks.

how design hairpin filter

hi everyone,

im going to design a hairpin bandpass filter.
im just a student without the knowledge of microstrip design.

i need to know how to start the design, what things i need to know before doing the design. by the way, i will use the ansoft designer.
thanks.

I think designing a microstrip filter using ansoft designer is quite easy.
If you dont know about the software usage, you can always open the Ansoft's help file, the file is useful enough, i think.
And if you already specified your type of filter, you just can choose every parameter that need to be set by the software.
Then the software will do every equation that is needed to determine your filter's dimention.

somebody can help me about ho to design filter hairpin???
i'm just a newbie to make it and less a knowledge all about it...so somebody please help me cause this is my last project in my college...
especially all about the calculation from we calculate about the orde of this filter till end...please...i need your help...a.s.a.p.

if somebody can help me, just send to my email...

thnks for your help before..

Hello,

Try using Nuhertz Filter Solutions Hairpin Filter Synthesis tool....
Its great tool which can synthesize your Hairpin Filter from specification & genartae ready to use layout
which can directly export the structure to Sonnet em project file & also you can quickly tune the circuit....

Nuhertz Technologies > Electrical Engineering design at its Best

Just use Agilent Genesys to enter your filter specs and microstrip substrate materials and it will generate the layout of the filter for you in minutes.
Then you can use Momentum to further analyse it before fabrication. All in one environment, unlike NuHertz...
