basic computer design morris mano

Hi,
I need Morris Mano's basic computer (book: Computer system Architecture) design softcore. Either in verilog or VHDL. It's urgent.

Does anybody have that? Please help me getting that.

I will gladly donate 30 points.

Thanks in advance.

morris mano basic computer

I designed that computer very long time ago, but with basic gates

i.e. i designed the ALU, CU, BUS and it controllers, ... etc. and instructions conditions are also made all in gates, you can translate it very easyily to VHDL or VeryLog code if you need..

I think it is now very easy for you to do..

I willl try to find it, and if i found it i will upload ...

Added after 51 minutes:

Here's a simplified design steps as well as the final desing of the overall basic computer,

You can take that final design, and translate it into VHDL code in less than 15 mins..

I am sure that you can,
I hope that helped,
Regards,

Thanks a lot.
But if you have got the VHDL/verilog code , then please upload that. In fact I don't have that much time to design and then submit. So, please try to get that code.

I am sending you 10 points as complement.

Thank you.

In fact, I wasnt waiting for points, i can re-send point to you if you sent any, but just tell me if you and i will send them back to you... :)

I was only waiting for you to press the "helped me" buttons in my replies.. :D, and you didn't ..

Another thing, I don't have also time to write the VHDL code for that computer, try another one that may can do, or do it yourself..

Regards,
Ahmad,

I didn't want to mean anything that might hurt you. You took it very personally. No, I don't need that point back, because that was a complement and your files were helpful to me.

I didn't mean you to write code for me. What I meant is if you could find out your code then please send me. I didn’t think you as a greedy

And "I don't have that much time" means - I am very newbie in Verilog and don't know VHDL at all. So, i can not complete my assignment within time if I try to learn first and then implement.

I didn't overlook or ignore but forgot to press the button "helped me".

I again highly apologies for not making myself clear to you.

Thanks for your help.

Dear fireball003,

You seems to misunderstand me! :)

I didn't get angry at all, or did understand any of your words wrong, :D

Don't worry at all,

And concerning the code, I remember that i have a VHDL code for it, but some blocks weren't working probably, I mean few registers, and the memory..

If it doesn affect with you to have a 100% working code, then tell me and i will send it to you (if i succeeded to find it in my HDD)

Okay, again, I didn't think that you thought any bad thing :) take it easy my dear,

Best Regards, and Good luck,
Ready for help when i can,
Ahmad,

You can share it, but you have to split it into 5MB parts and then attach them one by one in a post.. You will get too many points if you did that :D..

You can make it very easyly with WinRAR, I think you have that program? if not, you can download it from www.download.com

then, after installing it, right click the file/folder you want to split it, choose add to archieve, then specify size of each part in the field named: split to volumes knowing that this size is in bytes not MBs or KBs! i.e. for 5MB size you will write: 5242880 that means 5x1024x1024 bytes..

Then attach these parts one by one, and you won't loose any points if you did, but you will gain points in shaa allaah... :)
