Hello I have seen a circuit that uses an atmega88 and stores and reads data from a 24c26.
I was wondering if I would be able to replace the eeprom with a bigger one eg. 24c64 and still be able to read/write, provided that the micro code is not modified.
Or do I need to manage the code so it can read the bigger eeprom?
How transparent/independent is the I2C R/W in the eprom from the mico code?
