Hi all...
I am simulating QAM signal in Rayleigh Fading environment in matlab...
I want to compare the BER with theoretical BER...

If in AWGN, theoretical BER of 16QAM is given:
Code:
BER_th=(3/8)*erfc(sqrt((2/5)*SNR))-(9/64)*(erfc(sqrt((2/5)*SNR)))^2

I dont know how to get theoretical BER in Rayleigh Fading... :cry:
I need help...

Thank you

Hi Man,
For Fading Channel Look at berfading(...,......,,,) function.
By typing help berfading you can see how to use this function
And in awgn channnel for theoritical results you can use berawgn;
By typing help berawgn you can see how to use this function
May it be easy
