pls can anyone send me embedded c program for interfacing I2C to 16*2 LCD DISPLAY using ATmega32

Read the explanation about Two Wire Interface protocol in ATMega32 datasheet.
I suggest you try I2C Master Library from Peter Fleury that works great.
