The capacity of the same circuit can be increased by using 2N3773 in place of 2N3055 which has almost 3 times more power handling capacity than the 3055 and proportinately the transformor need to be re-wound according to the required wattage. But as a practical view, designing an inverter for more than say 750/800 watts with 12 volts is not a straight forward approach as the battery will be draining to its maximum limit when the inverter is used in full power. A 24volt design is always welcome when inverter power exceeds 758/800 watts. Good luck.
The circuit ( I was just able to open the 500W rar file and the bmp inside) is rather simple but might work for offline usage.
I have an old 50W / 16V solar panel that I would like to bring "online".
I know that it is not very efficient to transform 12V to 240V but the panel is useless and has 0% efficiency if it unused.
I'm an electronic engineer but have no time to invent the wheel again.
I would like to connect the solar panel directly to the ac wall socket via "the black box" I'm looking here.
This means also there must be a microcontroller that handles switching on and off the "charging" of the public main and a flexible step up circuit that also synchronize to the main frequency (50 - 100 Hz).
I rather don't like to discuss why I don't like to use a buffer batterie and so on ...
If someone likes to start a project and is able to take the "bigger" part: Please send me a PM.
Can anyone give the idea of controlling the push pull driver stage with the aid of pwm pulses generated by micro controller and regulating the output voltage with the feedback(reduced peak voltage from transformer as feedback to controller through ADC) to maintain output voltage @ 230V irrespective of the battery voltage and load condition.
is it possible to use a PCB till the outputs of the transistors Q3,Q4 and after that the rest are connected via a 5gauge wire???
can a pcb transfer current at these high value???if so can u plz tell me the width of the copper wire i should use to design the pcb?

One note consider amperage on low voltage system and apropriate design of battery bank !!!!
For Lead Acid batteries always use manufacturer informations about charging and discharging.
Declared battery capacity is based on /10h or /20h discharge time!!!
Battery type : Starter or Deep Cycle
Chemistry tech : Gell, Gell/glass, wet,... (gell-glass can be up to 200Ah but price )
Very important thing for lead acid batteries :
DONT LEAVE THIS BATTERY EMPTY TO REST !!!! RECHARGE IT IMMEDIATELY IF POSSIBLE!!!
Consider usage of desulfatisators!!!!
Measure internal resistance of each battery and monitor curve of this.
Make paralel connection of batteries only if necessary.
