Yes you can but make sure you input can handle 60+ Volt and also put a transzorb at the input of your powersupply of 1500W @ 24V so that spikes are not killing your design. Car powersupply is sometimes called: "Power supply from HEL" and this is not for a reason !.
Use a switching frequency that is 100K or higher and high voltage MOSFET's. The high switching frequency is since you use an audio application !.
