Hi
I want to ask is it practically possible to boost 12V dc from a battery to 220V dc? If yes can you help me how?

What is the needed current and output voltage tolerance.

Very simple boost circuit without voltage feedback............
Make a simple boost converter

or something like this , with added rectifier..............

Generator of 500V for insulation resistances probe.

For any sort of power, a push-pull DC/DC converter topology is normally used for this step up ratio.
