12 v adapter and 12 v batttery in parllel

hello everyone
if i connect 12 v 1 amp adapter and use 1n4007 diode and connect 12 v 7 ah lead acid battery in paralllel as shown in image then we give this to our microcontroller kit ,then current would be add or we will get sam 1 amp current

The "one amp" is the rated current for the adapter. It means it won't broke if you draw one amp from it.

How much current that will pass between adapter and battery is determined by the electrical characteristics of both adapter AND battery combined. And of course the circuit board too.
