What the hell is wrong with this site??

Since I registered on here 3-4 times a day I get an email that says:

"Dear User Name,

Someone has tried to log into your account on Forum for Electronics with an incorrect password at least 5 times. This person has been prevented from attempting to login to your account for the next 15 minutes.

The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: 71.177.247.129

All the best,
Forum for Electronics"

Each time it is a different IP address. Enough is enough. How do I cancel my account here.
 

Maybe you should have picked a user name other than 'user name' !!!!!

You cannot blame the site for that.

Yes..i do agree with Keith. I think the script get affected when anyone tries to login with their "User name" some how. If you prefer to stay in EDA, we can chnage your login name of your choice. But EDA forum is 100% fine without any problems.
 

A user name of "User Name" is a common attack point for hackers. Hence all of the alerts. Keith and Pranam are right.
 

Not only that, but if someone forgets to type in their user name, the field is already filled in with the words "User Name"!
