timer with 45seconds ON and 4 minutes off....

dear all,
i want to design a timer having ON period=30 seconds to 1.5 minutes variable......and OFF period also variable from 2 minutes to 5 minutes........
I hope one can do using 555, but how to do ...plz advise me....
u tell me for 45 seconds ON and 4 minutes OFF.........with sum modifications i can get wotever i want.......

please reply
i need it vry urgently
