I use MPLAB 7.5 and and old ICD2.

My ICD2 gets buggy at baudrate higher than 9600, but MPLAB 7.5 does not give me an option of choosing 9600 (older version that I used had this option.)

Does anyone know how to get around this problem?

It may be complicated since I use USB-to-Serial converter.

Thanks.

I was never able to run ICD2 on the serial channel reliable. I think it's MPLAB problem - I posted this problem on Microchip forum long time ago and they told me - just go to USB and forget about serial on ICD2.

Thanks for your reply.

So my programmer worked very reliably on 9600 on older MPLAB. On 19200, sometimes it works sometimes it does not work.

The good news is that it works flawlessly at the moment. I dont' know if this is a permanent cure (let's hope it is!), but maybe the board had to be "burnt in" for higher baudrate.

my 2cents.

stopped working.

man, this is sad.
