This prestigious, International EDA organisation with aggressive growth plans over 2007 has an immediate opening for a Technical Sales Manager / Country Manager, Munich based.
Responsibilities will involve New Business Development and account management assisting with the design in processes where required. As the Country Manager you are responsible for all facets of customer accounts, including developing business plans and forecasts, selling products and solutions, contributing to sales expansion measures, and promoting ongoing development of existing accounts.
Your background will demonstrate the following:-
2-4 years commercial EDA technical sales at senior level – Office or Field based
An Electronics related degree
Reside in Germany, or be willing to relocate to Munich
Fluent in German and English. Russian is useful though not essential. And thorough exposure to the German Microelectronics market place.
3 years post graduation design or applications support experience with a mixture of MMIC, RF Comms, RF IC and/or Analogue chip sets.
Knowledge of EDA tools such as Cadence, Agilent ADS, EESOF, Synopsys or Mentor Graphics. First class customer facing, presentation and technical support skills
An established presence in the EDA industry and future awareness essential.
Willingness to travel is also expected.
