What is the limit of changing W and L in amplifier design?

When designing an amplifier, there are many trade offs, gain etc.

Yo keep changing the Ws and Ls and etc to get what you want. But there is a limit when the optimum is reached. where is that limit and how can we find it?

See in model file it define the range of W and L

read chapter 1 of Razavi´s book and you fill find more limits that you would like...
