Hi,
still looking for a geek X-Mas present. You might want to have a look here:

Check the X-Mas tree that uses an ARM7 with the tough task to switch LEDs or to run a script that lets you communicate with other tree users.
The board can actually be used as a very low cost ARM7 evaluation board.
Cost: 14.99 Euro plus shipping & handling and may be taxes.
Embedded Artists had a similar promotion last year and the trees sold out very fast. By the way I got one ;-)
