An enquiry for RF module for the Wimax 802.16e

For my senior year graduation project , we are planning to implement the baseband of the PHY layer of Wimax 802.16 e on TI's 6455 DSKs .

Our second goal to to connect the two DSPs via wireless modulation , All RF modules that i have found requires more kits and/ or more ICs.

Any body recommend any RF modules for the Front end stage of the mobile user and the basestation , considering that we are undergraduate students so we seeking the least cost and complexity.?

Any body knows any module that integrated the baseband DSP with the RF stage?
 

AFIK there is no DSP+RF. Probably you'll find with difficulty DSP +baseband.
One solution would be to use the RF of the 802.11 and think...
