vco 90 mhz

I want to build a discretec (i.e. not integrated) VCO that's to be stable and have center frequency of 90MHz..

Can anyone suggest good and stable circuit to make that VCO I prefer using crystal.. but notice that i am not able to get crystal with frequency more than 30MHz... I may use it as an over tone xtal .. but how? also how to simulate it with A.D.S.

I hope that anyone help.
Thanks in advance,
Ahmad,

How much frequency variation do you need?

I hope to vary it in as wide as possible (I don't know how far can it be dynamically change)..

Crystal oscillator is stable but it's frequency can be changed only few kHz.
LC oscillator is less stable but it's frequency can be changed up to 1:3.

Okay, I agree with you, but i need circuits now, suggest if available two circuits one with LC and one with xtal..

Thanks,
