Xilinx ISE installation problem!

xilinx authentication rejected

Hi all,
Firstly, i downloaded the 8_1_03i_lin.zip from www.xilinx.com website
and its size is about 130M.
130224509 03-30 01:04 8_1_03i_lin.zip
then unzip this file to run ./setup
but it appear one dialogue box which needed one installation directory.
it was error when i give any existed directory.
what's matter about this?


The dialogue box show the following text :
"Welcome to the Xilinx Service Pack Installation Program. The path displayed is your current XILINX installation, this service pack will be applied to this location.

Selet the directory where you want the software installed.
______________________ |Browse....|
"


This Xilinx Software Installation include following two steps:
-> Select Destination Directory
Begin Installation

ise installation

You are trying to install service pack , have to donwload webpack ise (about size of CD)
 

xilinx 8.1 on fedora installation

Could you give me a link?

In xilinx website, i can only find this file!!!

xilinx select installation options

Hi artem,
After download .sh file successfully,
run sh *.sh under this directory, and there's pop-up windows of steps of Installation.

There'are following errors in the terminal, and the install going on.....
after 100% installatoin finished. there's a error message comes out (seen as the attachment)
Could you tell me where's the problem?

And after that, how to start the ISE ??
i can not find some scripts under /xilinx/bin/lin .
 

xilinx installation problems

dspti, i did not install webpack on Linux . The only thing i can say - from the system platform requirements it needs "Red Hat Enterprise 3 Linux" . If your linux distribution is different , even version - this could be a problem .
 

xilinx service pack error

O, it's so pity!
I'm worked on Fedora 5.

Are there any free or for student sythesis tool??

so what will u do....can u have another version of linux on one pc or will u just get redhat enterprise...

did u face any other problems while installing it....or was it okay..??? cause i need to install xilinx on linux too
