Hi all

hi all,
Please tell me how to calculate current in PMOS and NMOS of CMOS inverter.

Hi all

Well the current through PMOS = NMOS

Just use the Ids current equation for NMOS you will be able to find it out.

Hi all

Always keep in mind there's hardly no current through the gate,then you can find the transisters in the same branch has the same current.As to a single transistor,you just use the Id equation.

the current depend on the load the inverter going to drive

according to the formula I= c* dv/dt

I= current
c= outout load
dv/dt= how fast the output voltage need to rise in a certain time, this depend on the speed requirement.
