What error message do you get?

One thing that worked for me was clicking right click on the icprog icon and then choosing compatability and change and it the "run this program in..."
choose win 2000.

If this doesn't work there can be many other options depending on the error you get.

Hi,
maybe the problem can be due to the programmer, some programmers need more current from serial port and not all new pc are ok.

Bye
