passive current mirrors

i just find a problem in Rzavi's book 《design of anglog cmos integrated circuits》

in chap 5,there is mentioned "passive current mirror & active current mirror"
but i dont konw what's the definition of "passive current mirror"
who konws it please tell me
thanks!

definition of current-mirror

Active curent mirror is that when the current can influnce tha output, simple said the current can control the signal...

Passive current mirror, cannot control the signal....

RAzavi book explain this under Chapter 5 i think, but surely the chapter after diiferential amplifier chapter.

current mirror

Agree to Syukri. Here Active means the current mirror can deal with the signal.
