I have been given a JTAGICE from a friend and need some tip about compilers that supports JTAGICE. I know AVR STUDIO from ATMEL supports it but is there others with a C-compiler and an easy interface?

Winavr is GCC port for Atmel AVR processors and it support debugging using JTAGICE but you still have to use AVR STUDIO for debugging code compiled with Winavr.

Thanks folks!

It seem to me i have a cheap choice and a expensive one. IAR is the expensive one. Winavr and avrstudio 4 is a little more complex but as cheep as it can be.

I have also found imagecraft V7 (https://www.imagecraft.com) may support jtagice with avrstudio, same as above. Codevision (https://www.hpinfotech.ro) also have some limited support if i understand it correct.

It seem to be more educationg anyhow to install Winavr. It may take a while to get continious developed tools to work but it may be worth it.
