Besids modelsim which tool can open *.wlf ?

Who KNOWs which tool can open *.wlf, besides modelsim.

I know I can dump *.wlf into vcd or fsdb. but I want to find a simple way.

WHO KONWS?

AFAIK, wlf is a properitary format and hence only modelsim can view it.

If you want to dump vcd. pls use dump system task !
write $dump* system task in your top simulation verilog file.
 

wlf format

YOu can use FSDB format dump and open it up in Debussy ...or go in with .trn format and open it in Signal scan...
I gueess i havent come across any other waveform reader which reads .wlf format ...may be there might be converters which convert from .wlf 2 vcd ...check them out...

yes, the only way is to dump wlf into vcd of fsdb!
 

how to open .wlf

The waveform viewer vandor should accept WLF format if he get the interface library from Mentor Graphic. As I know, Mentor provide the API library but I don't know if it is free. Some viewer vandor like sandwork, maybe can do this work.
