cmos opamp design

hi guys
i m final yr student and doing a 2 stage cmos opamp design. i have completed the design of the individual stages of the opamp like the current mirror, diffamp etc, i want to know how to join/interface these two stages .i.e the op amp uses the amplifiers which r linear in the small signal region . As the signal crosses each stage the magnitude increases and it becomes a large signal operation . i cant go on to adjust the gain to a large extent. then the very purpose gets defeated. ie gain
so if any of u can come up with a soln i will b very grateful.
thanks !

Re: cmos opamp design

At the beginning of design u should calculate the o/p swing of the first stage and then design the secong stage according to the calculated input.

Can u plz tell me ur design flow ?
