What is the cause of gain expansion in power amplifier?

Gain expension

I was wendering what is the cause of gain expansion in power amplifier.

yes i am also same question in my mind,why do we always confine ourselves with only its effiency

If we will use small signal, then the non linear effect will be much less the in large signal. So in power amp in nature you have to use large signal to create power, then you will get the non linear effect that you have in transistors/ power Fet etc...
