In my project , i am using SIM808 module and pic16f876A microcontroller to send sensor data by email. All works fine but it gives me the wrong time. It shows Thu, 01 Jan 2004 00:00:00 +000 as a dafualt time, but i nned the current time.

Did you issued these commands to the modem ?

Code:
AT+CLTS=1
AT&W

The first one enables update of local timestamp upon registration on telephony operator, whereas the second command saves this setting to the modem non-volatile memory, which means you will not need to send this command again.
