I am working in design a buck converter using arduino, the output voltage 5 to 12 v, the output current is 3 amp, and the operating frequency is 350 KHz.
the calculating inductor is 3.5 uH.

I will use iron powder toroid core material #26, but I cant select the the correct size of this core.

Best just buy a finished inductor rated for the current and frequency ( Wurth maybe ) 5A min, 6.8uH, 350kHz - good luck....

For small inductor design you can use Micrometals Inc tool, it will give exact core size

It will definitely workout.
