I am trying out the SIM5320 (onn an Adafruit FONA808 board) and accidentally used

AT+CGPSSWITCH=2

which switches the UART to be used for NMEA sentences and it now no longer accepts AT commands.

How do I recover from this (ATZ of course won't work as it needs the UART to accept AT commends)?

Note a board reset on the FONA (pull the Reset pin down for 100ms) did not help either. When it starts up again it's back in NMEA mode on the UART
