Hi,

I have a working code for DC excitation of AD7730. To run it in AC excitation mode, I just changed the AC bit of the filter register from 0 to 1. It is now working in AC mode and also giving test counts but the test counts have reduced to very low level.

For eg: At 5mV in DC exct., I got 50,000 test counts, but for the same voltage i am getting only 7000 test counts or less. I can use dac register to shift it but i need a good gain as i increase the voltage input. I have kept the gain same in both the cases and everything else is same.

Could anyone suggest me something on this?

Hi,

Is the hardware you use suitable for AC excited bridge mode?
See Fig. 24 in datasheet.
