Hi all,
I need to run a PRBS signal of the form
prbs.JPG
freq=64GHz, period = 15.625ps
For obtaining this kind of signal, I tried a circuit which looks like the one below
prbs.jpeg
And the parameters for the prbs V6 is as follows:
prbs_v6.jpeg
And the parameters for the prbs V31 is as follows:
prbs_v31.jpeg
But the output signal which I am getting is:
prbs_out.jpeg

I just need to know how to get the exact signal output that I have specified in the first picture. Help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

Guys,
Is there any solution for this problem. Help is appreciated

Hi erikl,
I can't use a verilog PRBS within cadence. Is there any way i could change some settings within PRBS instance in Cadence, so that i could get a signal like the one which I have mentioned above.

I can't use a verilog PRBS within cadence.

Of course you can use Verilog files within C@dence tools (Virtuoso, Spectre, OA). Is there any other reason why you can't?
