can anyone please explain me
1.what is the actual response of tool after run the "Create_test_protocol" command in DFT compiler?
2.what will happen in design after run the Create_test_protocol command?
3. To fix DRC's why we need to run the autofix command along with particular DRCs command?
Ex:set_dft_configuration -fix_clock enable
set_autofix_configuration -type clock -method mux -test_data scanclk -control testmode

Hello Basker,

1. create_test_protocol - is just to create test protocol file i.e. spf on the basis of given dft specifications
2. Nothing will happen as it is just for taking the dft specification
3. There is no compulsory to give autofix options. We can solve by adding the mux logic at rtl level also. Generally people don't use the autofix option and we try to debug and solve ourself by DRC analysis.

1)Create test protocol- During atpg in synopsys tetramax, u need something called stil procedure file (spf file)
It gives scan structures, signal groups, shift(load ,unload) capture (launch ,capture) procedures for launching and capturing faults etc. Although launch could come in shift also.
