Hello Guys!

Hope you are doing great.

I have taken out a Shell Type Power Inductor form a PSU. I have no information regarding its core type. I have measured the inductance using LCR meter. However i want to test the frequency characteristics of the inductor so i can get idea that will it work at 200 kHz. How can i test that?

That is the job for an impedance analyzer.

I guess you do not have one, so go with a LR circuit measuring its impedance magnitude and phase.
