Hi,

I am trying to understand the concept of a rectifier.

I see there are many rectifiers with different reverse voltage.

I have implemented a circuit of 2 X sin wave with 50V and 800 hz 180 degree phase shift and other one with 0 degree phase shift.

I used four schottky diode and smoothing cap of 100ouf load of 18 ohm.

i get 11V output. Can I please know what's the formula ?

when I change the diode my output changes.

HI,

show the complete circuit. I assume there is an issue with your GND reference.

I am trying to implement only the circuit shown in red box.

D15 and D16 are useless for a half wave rectifier.
Your diodes are breaking down. Use rectifier diodes.
