Hello,

I need to calculate the power lost through a slit in one walls of a waveguide. I defined two ports for the waveguide and a radiation box ouside the slit. I should be able to calculate the power going out using the fields calculator. I am new at this. please help.

Thank you

The integral of the pointing vector over the surface of the slot will capture the power flow. Ansys described the process in some detail in one of their cookbooks. It is an entertaining exercise in the field calculator. As I recall there was plenty of frustration to get it to work.
