Hello,
I am trying to build an inverting amplifier using LM7171 with gain 2. Its a simple circuit with R1=2.2K and Rf = 4.7K. Vcc=-Vee=15V. i am using BNC connectors and no capacitors. What could be the possible errors?

Review the datasheet section "Component selection and feedback resistor". 4k7 without parallel capacitor is much to high resistance for a 200 MHz OP, likely to create an oscillator.

Also consider the comment about driving capacitive loads.
