Is there any way to fix these contacts? Any thoughts will be appreciated! ;]

Your resistive carbon tracks appear burnt. It might be fixable with:

* replacement potentiometer of equal size and resistance
* semi-circular carbon track from an old potentiometer
* graphite scribble from the correct type of pencil
* liquid silver pen, silver epoxy (example, Circuitworks brand)
