Hello,

I have to design a sub hz low pass filter according to the technique used in this article:

https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/5930351/

I'm simulating it in Cadence. The frequency response is good and the cut-off is at 68 mHz.

I tried to simulate the transient response to an EEG signal and to compare it with an ideal filtering with a low pass filter in Matlab. Is it correct to do that?

The waveform is correct but an additive delay accumulates during time response.

Thank you for your reply

Makes no sense. Filters have different delays (group delay) depending on the design method. But what do you mean with "the delay accumulates"? Please clarify.
