Hello everyone,
I have just started using Momentum version 7 integrated in Virtuoso and I am trying to do a Via simplification and Metal Fill reduction in my structure. I was used to do the same in the previous version, where I managed to do it easily, but now the menu has been slightly changed and I cannot do it anymore. Regarding Via simplification I am interested in the option "Merge vias keeping area and boundaries" but whatever value I put in the related options nothing happens. The same for Metal fill reduction, where I would like to replace it by an equivalent layer. Has anyone managed to use these procedures successfully?
Unfortunately, the documentation that I have found is relative to an older version of Momentum.
