Hi, I would like to know how to assign an aperature in hfss.

In the hfss help menu, they say 2. Select the object and right-click on Boundaries>Assign>Aperature to display the Aperature dialog.

but, I don see the aperature option in my hfss version (version 13). So I would like to know if there is any other way to so it if I don't see it as an option inside Boundaries>Assign> ?

or if you know what I did wrong?

thank you

The Help menu Boundaries > Assign > Aperture that you are referring to is for HFSS-IE solver not for HFSS-FEM.

To model aperture : Easier option would be to draw the object and use subtract operation
