Micro stepping Pin Control using Pic Micro controller ?

Hello Friends First of all I have a SilentStepstick Driver of trinimi TMC2100.

**broken link removed**

and i am controlling using PIC32MX575F256H microcontroller. now motor working perfectly . but i want to change microstep using microcontroller. below is the Microstep

Microstep.JPG

now suppose i have to change in running motion of 1/4 step to 1/16 step and other that time how to control.

so which ic i have to use to change microstep using microcontroller.

simply , what can i do for control CFG1 and CFG2 pin .

is that any ic required to do such a task.

Re: Micro stepping Pin Control using Pic Micro controller ?

Hi,

you have the module, so you don´t need any other IC.

On the bottom side you clearely see what pins are CFG1 and CFG2.
--> Connect CFG1 with GND and leave CFG2 unconnected.

hello KlausST thanks for reply

But Actually i want to change microstepping in Programmatically so at that time i have use microcontroller with tri- state logic like VCC , GND , OPEN .

any tri-state buffer ic i have to use to change microsteeping.

Re: Micro stepping Pin Control using Pic Micro controller ?

Hi,

if you want to control the config by a microcontrolelr then you need to wire the CFG pins to microcontroller three state pins.

Again: No need for additiony IC.
